Habitrol sucks. Probably it works for the heavy smoker (as it is for heavy smokers), but it did not help me.
I smoked lights and got it as a present so I quit smoking finally, but after the second patch I got a nicotine overdose of some sort. It was like after a first cigarette or something. I was dizzy, I was shaking and all the things you feel after smoking and drinking all night.
I give it a 5, it is NOT RECOMMENDED for light smokers. The pack goes to a friend who might qualify as a heavy smoker (1.5 packs a day), I just go with some nicotine free solution because that messed me up for like 6 hours.
It was terrible I swear.

It almost worked. Habitrol is a cool product that really worked for the time used. I was a heavy smoker and I finally quit without tablets, nicotine patches and all that crap.
9 points from me, as it worked, but social smoking dragged me back as soon as I finished the patches. Well they work but they won't let you kick your social habit, and I think in my case it is not nicotine addiction, but in fact a weakness to hang on to the deathc stick.
But I "went home and reconsidered my life" :) and just suffered for 2 weeks, and now I do not smoke.

Habitrol
THE ONLY REASON I AM USING HABITROL IS BECAUSE MY INSURANCE PAYS FOR IT. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT GENERIC PRODUCTS ARE LOW END PASSABLE SUBSTITUTES FOR THE REAL THING! THIS IS MY 2ND TIME IN TRYING TO QUIT. THE FIRST TIME BEFORE OUR MONEY GRUBBING INSURANCE COMPANIES DID'T WANT TO PAY FOR THE PATCHES; I BOUGHT NICODERM, THEY WORKED BETTER FOR ME. I WOULD HAVE PROBABLY QUIT BUT I DECIDED TO GO BACK TO MY OLD HABITS.
